Widget Layout & Design Enhancements

In this release, we’ve extended the personalisation of the user’s Dashboard even further by providing new predefined layouts that can be selected in the Widget Editor. The user interface in the Widget Editor has also been updated to give a more contemporary look and feel.

Changing the layout will automatically rearrange a user’s existing widgets into the optimal configuration while still allowing the freedom to drag and drop widgets anywhere. Once a new layout is saved, the user’s Dashboard will be updated immediately and saved against their profile.

Credit Cards -TokenEx

As part of our continual PCI DSS and Data Privacy obligations, we have extended our existing partnership with the award-winning Cloud Security platform TokenEx.

  • TokenEx is a data protection platform that provides cloud tokenization, encryption, and data vaulting through a vendor-agnostic platform that secures all sensitive data.

Our current TokenEx integration has been updated to utilise the latest Token Scheme providing an even more robust framework for the tokenisation and storage of both Traveller and Company Credit Card numbers. This new token scheme also provides performance enhancements increasing the speed at which we can synchronise profiles that include Credit Card information.

Existing Credit Card screens have also been redesigned to create a more contemporary and enjoyable user experience.

Privacy Mode - Travel Preferences

Previously in Privacy Mode, Special Meal and Traveller Notes fields were masked.

As part of this release, this information is no longer considered a privacy concern and will be made visible under this setting. All fields under the Traveller Preferences accordion are now visible.

Platform Administration

Dynamic Dashboard Widgets

Dynamic Widgets represent a major overhaul in how Widgets are delivered to the end-user, providing a far greater level of control and convenience to the Travel Agency and their customers.

New functionality within Kudos Administration enables Agency administrators to customise default widget layouts across all user access levels ensuring users automatically receive the most optimal user experience when they next log in. In addition to this, widgets can be controlled at a company level for further customisation.

Ability to control Dashboard Widgets based on

  • Product to which the Widget belongs
e.g. Traveller Tracking widget only appears if Care is enabled

  • Travel Agency configuration
e.g. “Agency AU” has a different Widget configuration to “Agency NZ”

  • User Access Level and User Type
e.g. Traveller, Travel Arranger. Travel Manager or Consultant

Users still have complete control over how they choose to configure their dashboard with all existing Widgets available in both small and wide formats, along with additional new layout features allowing for new levels of creativity.

Theme Enhancements to Navigation Styling

User experience and personalised branding are what sets our Travel Platform apart. As part of this release, the existing personalisation capabilities have been extended with enhancements to several of our existing theme templates. Theme personalisation extends not just to the Dashboard but throughout the system to all applications to ensure the entire Travel Platform’s ecosystem feels like an extension of the company branding.

Theme 02 Updates

  • Main Navigation and Welcome bar use Primary Colour

  • Welcome bar icons use Secondary Colour

  • Widget display uses Secondary Colour for the active tab border

  • Active sub-menu icon uses Secondary Colour

  • The Request accordion icons use Secondary Colour

Theme 03 updates

  • Menu item border changed from grey to a variation of primary colour for better aesthetics

  • The menu collapse icon changed as per above

  • Fix agency icon is repeating in the background of the home button

Passport Sync

This enhancement includes a new Company-level flag Is Passport Master to enable Passport details as the primary identifier for a traveller profile in downstream systems including:

  • Online Booking Tools (OBTs) - e.g. Serko, Cytric

  • Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) - e.g. Amadeus, Sabre

  • Travel Management and Mid-Office Systems (TMSs) - e.g. Tramada, Dolphin

When this company-level flag is enabled (yes), Profile data sent downstream systems will use the profile passport information for the traveller identification fields.

These fields include:

  • Passport First Name

  • Passport Last Name

  • Passport Middle Name

  • Passport Date of Birth

  • Passport Gender

A new Preferred Passport option to identify the primary document when more than one (1) passport exists for a profile. If only one (1) passport exists, this will automatically become the preferred passport.

Scenario 1 - No Passport

  • If no passports exist for a traveller profile, use the main profile when sending to downstream systems.

Scenario 2 - Single Passport

  • If a single (1) passport is present, use passport details over profile details when sending to downstream systems.

Scenario 3 – Multiple Passports

  • If more than one (1) passport is present, use preferred passport details over profile details when sending to downstream systems.
