Signing in to the travel platform for the first time requires a new password to be created.
This is similar to the Reset your Password steps an existing user would follow if they have forgotten their password and are unable to access the system.
Enter the (login) email address linked with your profile,
Select Forgot Password, and
Follow the Password Reset Link steps.

Password Recommendations
The Kudos Travel Platform follow the guidelines set by the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) for password policies. Our goal is to provide a password policy that ensures both strong security and user convenience for a safe and secure platform.
The NIST recommends, among other things for passwords:

Based on these recommendations and considering that passwords must be hashed and salted when stored, no unnecessary restrictions on length exist in the travel platform.
NIST password guidelines have been used by many government institutions and federal
agencies, businesses, and universities for more than a decade.
Reset your Password
Select Forgot Password.

Enter the Login Email (address) associated with your profile to the relevant field and select Reset.

Password Reset Link
If a match is possible to the email address entered, an email containing instructions on how to set a new password will be sent.
If Communication Email is enabled, the password reset messaging will be delivered to this email address, not the Login Email (address).

For security reasons, the password reset link contained in the email is valid for 30 minutes only.
In the reset password email received, select Click here to reset your password.

Enter a New Password in the screen presented and select Reset Password when complete.

Password Strength Indicator
It is crucial to select a strong password to secure your profile, and a password-strength indicator can guide you in making a good choice. This tool uses an algorithm that prioritises password length over complexity, eliminating the need for confusing rules.
According to the latest recommendations from NIST, a minimum of 8 characters and adequate strength are the only requirements. The strength meter provides helpful tips and suggestions to encourage users to choose stronger passwords. Here are some examples.

Through pattern matching and conservative estimation techniques to identify and evaluate approximately 30,000 frequently used passwords, names, and surnames. This evaluation is based on US/AU census data, popular English words from sources such as Wikipedia and US/AU television and movies, and other common patterns such as dates, repeats (e.g., aaa), sequences (e.g. abcd), keyboard patterns (e.g., qwertyuiop), and l33t speak.
The Kudos Travel Platform has eliminated the need for a confirm password option, which may be present in other platforms. This is aimed to provide a hassle-free and user-friendly experience, especially on mobile devices with smaller keyboards.
A password control feature is available to help users who make mistakes while typing their passwords. This feature allows them to turn password masking on or off. When accessing the password field via a desktop, the masking feature is enabled by default to keep passwords hidden.

The password field includes a toggle option to Show or Hide the entered password onscreen.

Change your Password
If you ever want to change your password on the travel platform, it is easy to do so. Simply go to the Avatar (user profile) menu and choose the Change my password option.
Keep in mind that even if you are already signed in and know your current password, it is always a good idea to update it periodically for added security.

To change your password, simply input your current password and then choose a new one on the screen. Once you're done, select Change Password.

Troubleshooting
If you receive a message stating that a profile cannot be located with the email address you entered, it may indicate an error.
This could be due to a typo or an incorrect email address. To resolve this, ensure that the login email address you entered is the same one used to create your profile on the travel platform.
Additionally, double-check that you are trying to sign into the correct travel platform domain.
If you require further assistance, please contact your company's travel administrator or manager, or the travel agency (e.g. TMC) that manages your profile and bookings.
